Who we are. Alsper Consultancy Ltd (company number SC891208, registered in Scotland, registered office 4 Copperbeech Court, Cavalry Park, Peebles, EH45 9BU) decides how your personal information is used. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration number ZC239518. Contact: info@alsper.co.uk.

What we hold. If you get in touch: your name, contact details and what you tell us. If you become a client: what we need to do the work and invoice for it. For coaching: notes of our sessions, which may include information about your health; we hold that only with your explicit consent.

Why. To reply to you; to deliver and invoice the work we agree (our contract with you); to keep proper business and tax records (a legal duty); and, where someone may be at risk of serious harm, to protect them.

Who sees it. Only us, and where needed our accountant, our insurer and our legal advisers, or an authority the law requires us to tell. We never sell it or use it for marketing lists. If there’s something we can’t help with, or another adviser is better placed to help, we may suggest one. Only with your agreement, we pass them your name, phone number, email address and what you need help with, and nothing more.

How long we keep it. Enquiries that go no further: 12 months. Coaching records: at least five years, a condition of our insurance. Invoices and business records: six years, as the tax rules require.

Your rights. You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@alsper.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
